Why most nude models you see in the net are naked but wearing black ankle strap heels? Have you notice that in posters, tv, and web sites... where nude models are nude but still wearing always strappy black heel sandals?
why is that? | These heels make your bare legs and butt look better (longer and tighter) when you're posing naked. They also call attention to your bare feet, and there are lots of guys out there who are into that.
Bottom line, the photographers and photo editors are catering to male fantasies and attempting to give the guys what they seem to like. | I want to pose semi nude in white mens magazines like maxim and fhm, will being 1/4 black hurt my chances? I know that white magazines pay way more than black ones, plus the models get more recognition. I am greek/italian and 1/4 black and I love white guysI want to pose half naked in their magazines. I am 5'8 and 125lbs my measurements are 34b-24-35, Do I have a chance or should I lose more weight? | | No, it wont make a difference, Also most white men like women of other races to. | Why would (or how could) a naked singularity be gravitationally weak? I just picked up February's Scientific American. Prior to this I've never heard the term "naked singularity." This whole article, by professor Pankaj S. Joshi, has just muddled my understanding of how super-massive stars collapse to form black holes (and now possibly naked singularities as well). Here's what's bugging me:
Real stars are inhomogeneous in terms of density. The gist I'm getting from this article is that black hole models based on general relativity are based on homogeneous, perfectly spherical stars, with no gas pressure. However we know black holes to exist in spite of the fact that real stars' densities are inhomogeneous, and their gases exert pressure. - Okay... so what, right? The laws of general relativity break down beyond the event horizon, so we can no longer use general relativity to explain their formation. So we turn to speculation such as quantum gravity theories in the making.
Joshi goes on to say this: "Consider a collapsing star where the density decreases with distance from the center. In effect, the star has an onion-like structure of concentric shells of matter. The strength of gravity acting on each shell depends on the average density of matter interior to that shell. Because the denser inner shells feel a stronger pull of gravity, they collapse faster than the outer ones. The entire star does not collapse into a singularity simultaneously. The innermost shells collapse first, and then the outer shells pile on, one by one.
"The resulting delay can postpone the formation of an event horizon. If the horizon can form anywhere, it will form in the dense inner shells. But if density decreases with distance too rapidly, these shells may not constitute enough mass to trap light. The singularity, when it forms, will be naked. Therefore, there is a threshold: if the degree of inhomogeneity is very small, below a critical limit, a black hole will form; with sufficient inhomogeneity, a naked singularity arises."
This explanation sounds a bit bogus to me. I mean, how often would the inhomogeneity of a collapsing giant star be very small?! It seems to me, that with this logic, a naked singularity would always arise from the collapse of a super-massive star, would it not? Would it also not eventually draw enough matter to eventually form an event horizon, and therefore form a black hole in the "end?" Supposedly, a naked singularity of immense gravity "spits material back out" as well as produces immense shock waves. Has this anything to do with a super fast axial spin?
Sorry, I got a bit side-tracked there; back to the main question which arose from the findings of Hans Jurgen Seifert. When considering inhomogeneity, he and his collegues, found that layers of infalling matter could intersect to create momentary singularities that were not covered by horizons. Although the density at one location became infinite, the strength of gravity did not (what? huh? why?), so the singualrity did not crush infalling matter to an infinitesimal point. In '79 Douglas M. Eardley went a step further, as did Demetrios Christodoulou in '84, and both found that the star shrunk to zero size, and a gravitationally weak, naked singularity resulted. But why? How can this be? What about the mass? The density? AAAArrrrggh! | In his example with a spherically-symmetric star, the density profile must drop off with a certain degree of rapidity for a naked singularity to form. That's what is meant by "sufficiently inhomogeneous". Such a density profile may or may not ever occur in nature---the cores of stars tend tend to have more-or-less flat density profiles; in other words, the core region of any star is pretty much a spherical region of uniform density. The point about a naked singularity is that a collapsing star whose density profile was sufficiently peaky in the middle might collapse into a naked singularity. This result is (he asserts) a solution of the Einstein field equations in this particular dynamical situation. Even in the one-dimensional spherically-symmetric case, these are an extremely nasty set of non-linear differential equations.
The point is, that if the Einstein field equations can result in a naked singularity in any case whatsoever, then that is a new thing that physics needs to deal with. The previous paradigm was that there are no solutions to the Einstein field equations that would yield a naked singularity---all singularities would always be shrouded in an event horizon, and therefore unconnected to the Universe as a whole. This was called "Cosmic Censorship". If these results can be believed, then Cosmic Censorship may not occur.
It may, however, be the case that in the actual Universe, the detailed nature of matter does not allow singularities to actually happen in real life. There are other, even wierder solutions of the field equations that probably do not occur, for example macroscopic wormholes or the Tipler time machine. These objects violate causality, and it is possible in theory to construct them with the Einstein field equations, but they require matter with impossible characteristics ("unobtainium"), such as negative density or impossibly high strength-to-weight ratios.
The gravitational force of a naked singluarity is necessarily "weak", because if it were strong it would have an event horizon. | Who is the [naked] male model in the dolce and gabbana 06 advert? The 2006 D&G campaign that caused all the media attention with [naked] Gemma Kidd in long black boots, and "violence" imagery - I was wondering who the male model is in one of the series, lying on a couch in the centre of the pic? | | where can i find the pic? | Video Vixen, new profession? Why does it seem like nowadays every girl wants to be in a hip-hop video or want to be a half-naked hip-hop model, especially Black, Latina, and other girls of color? I'm a 22-year old Black woman from Detroit and I see so many girls wanting to get half-naked and model for magazines and videos. Guys have even approached me and told me that I should model because I was attractive and light-skin (which was a very ignorant reason). I said "no". I don't wanna be some video vixen. Why do I have to show my body to millions of men to reassure that I am pretty. Isn't wearing a bikini on the beach for fun or wearing lingerie for your man enough?
There are so many jobs out there for women to apply for rather than degrade themselves or look like beautiful bimbos with no brains. But I guess working hard with your brain is just to strenuous for them.
But hey it is their choice. Not mine. | well im a dark skinned blk women who is also 22 and i get told pretty often i should do soft porn because i guess i have a pretty sultry sexual look.. i don't know i just think its stupid.
I'm getting my money from working hard and having a respectable career while saving up and eventually owning my own business!

white girls do playboy, howard stern, and girls gone wild..
either way.. all women are being degraded in this form of sexism not just black women | Double standard? why do so many complain about video models degrading black women for showing off theyre bodies and what not..but no body complains about that white women working for playboy are degrading white women....i understand it from both sides...i agree..that some videos do way to much and some girls will go to desperate measures to be fetured..but outside of the video thing...i think it shows that there are two sides of modeling...models pose naked in pics...and its considerd art..but if a "video girl" does it shes a hoe and degradin..and most of theese models are black and latino....i can honestly say i have never seen a model who looked like me in the fashion industry ...if they tried to be a fashion model" they would be considered plus sizes models most of the time but as a video girl they are praised for there volumtious bodies and big butts.you dont see many thin video models. | I think Playboy is generally considered less overtly sexual than video girls. It's possible for a fully clothed woman to be more sexual than a naked one. But neither is better than the other. By the way, there are a lots of black Playmates. Last month, in fact, was black.
Some people have a hard time understanding the different standards of beauty in "video girls". Most everyone sees why a PB model is attractive, but a lot of people have a hard time seeing why a girl who is larger would be considered attractive. Typically, lean and toned is optimal.
There isn't a fashion model that looks like you because you aren't thin. They have to be 5'9-5'11 with measurements of 33-24-33. The clothes are cut to fit those measurements. If you looked like that, you'd be a fashion model.
Plus size models still need to have the height and be in incredible shape (hard bodies, not soft). It's a very hard industry to get into.
I see lots of thin videos models, but they aren't in black music videos. They are also typically full-time print models, who just happen to do videos occasionally.
Anyway...so go watch a 50 cent video and compare that to a centerfold spread. The models are outrageously sexual in 50 cent videos, shaking their butts in thongs, thrusting their hips, suggestive lyrics. In magazines that does not happen.
Not that there isn't a spot in the industry for both. Just trying to help you understand why those people are criticized.
And those videos seem to push the envelope between voluptuous and just plain...large. | Isnt it a double standard? why do so many complain about video models degrading black women for showing off theyre bodies and what not..but no body complains about that white women working for playboy are degrading white women....i understand it from both sides...i agree..that some videos do way to much and some girls will go to desperate measures to be fetured..but outside of the video thing...i think it shows that there are two sides of modeling...models pose naked in pics...and its considerd art..but if a "video girl" does it shes a hoe and degradin..and most of theese models are black and latino....i can honestly say i have never seen a model who looked like me in the fashion industry ...if they tried to be a fashion model" they would be considered plus sizes models most of the time but as a video girl they are praised for there volumtious bodies and big butts.you dont see many thin video models. | I find them all degrading. I am gonna go out on a limb because I am not a black woman, but here is my answer. I feel like black women and women in general deserve repect and dignity. They should never be called bitches and hoes or treated as if they are just eye candy and a piece of ***. In many rap videos you hardly ever see a black woman being idolized or praised. It mostly has to do with sex or calling them names. Now there are many black artists who are not hard core rappers who sing the praises of black women and show thier beauty and not their half naked bodies. I feel that rap videos create a stereo type of black women and fail to show them as the beautiful, strong black women that they are. That is just an opinion from an outsider. I think there is alot more to black women than half naked great dancing sisters.
Besides that there is alot more to all women then naked bodies. We are smart and gorgous damn it! | Blue eyes&black eyeliner? I have very bright blue eyes and I wear black eyeliner whenever I go out. I've heard a lot about it looking weird and too much of a contrast but I feel like my face is naked without it. People tell me Im beautiful and some even say I should model but does anyone have makeup tips/pictures I could use with blue eyes, light skin, and blond hair? Thanks<3 | BLue eyes and black eyeliner looks good.
Look up Jared Leto(from 30 seconds to mars) he looks really good with black eyeliner | Does miranda kerr like modeling nude? Whenever i see her modeling in photoshoots that is published, she is usually smiling or looks happy. This is even when she is topless but her nipples doesn't show. In the photos where her nipples do show, like for the new V2 book where her nipples are clearly visible, she isnt smiling. Also most of the ones that shows her nude are black and white like the one where she is pregnant. I'm also wondering if she even likes modeling naked in front of the whole crew. I'm not saying i dont like it, I love those pictures. I'm just wondering. | | I don't know. Go ask her. | Why are people so quick to bash Hip Hop Video Models. but say nothing about GGW or Playboy Bunnies? I noticed black women take the heat for things like hip hop "hoes" and calling them sluttly and demeaning women everywhere. In that case, why don't I see as many people calling out Girls Gone Wild and PlayBoy Bunnies? They're getting paid to have sex and be almost naked, and hip hop girls are just getting paid to dance and look sexy. Wtf? | | man you just got starred i never really thought about this but i am guessing it is because of the music not just the girl and its obvious which race has more slues white people i mean you can only find the rarest black girl that is actually a slue but all white girls are blowing guys and there best friends for fun they would rather bring the flaws in our race forward then look at there own but there is also the fact that rap videos are all over tv while in order to get a playboy or a ggw tape you have to buy it so of course not that many people are paying attention to playboy because it is not shoved in there faces whenever they change the channel |
